The idea

Hunters, anglers, and boaters live and die by water levels — but checking gauge readings by hand, across scattered government sites, is tedious. GaugeKeep watches the gauges for you and tells you when something changes.

What we built

• Ingestion of live federal data — the National Water Prediction Service (NWPS) gauges and the National Inventory of Dams (NID).
• Accounts with the ability to browse, search, and filter gauges by location.
• A free tier that lets you track a gauge, set thresholds, and get email alerts when levels cross them.
• A premium tier (in progress) with unlimited tracking, billing, and an interactive map.
